Shuttle and More Parking at Kahului Airport Maui

July 17, 2009

If you’re one of those Maui visitors or residents who have been frustrated in the past with limited parking at Kahului Airport (OGG), then your woes may be alleviated.

A new facility has been built to accommodate 200 cars indoors about five minutes away from the terminal. Parking there is $5/day and shuttles run frequently to the airport from the parking. This is SpediShuttle’s project and is called SpediShuttle. The project was launched on Wednesday the 8th.

SpediShuttle executives were aware of the complaints from interisland travellers, property owners and vacationers about limited parking at OGG and decided to act. You know what they say, every problem is an opportunity in disguise. In fact, this is a good example for those who are having trouble with the state of the economy. You may find hidden opportunities if you look at your situation carefully.

In other news, the Kihei Community Association is having its monthly meeting on the 21st of this month at 6:30p.m. at the Kihei Community Center on Lipoa. The Maui food bank will be collecting in case you have any canned goods to bring with you. There will be free pupus and an introduction to the new Police Chief, Gary Yabuta. Call 879-5390 for more information.

As for Maui real estate, we recommend that you browse the Wailea Fairway Villas for some lovely homes, or perhaps the homes for sale in Maalaea.
