Kihei Rotary Club Hosts Whale Watch and Snorkel
.jpg)
The Kihei Rotary Club will be hosting a whale watch and snorkel outing on February 13th. Proceeds will help them continue to do the great work that they've done for Maui, including their support of the less fortunate as well as the education of the island's keiki.
Join them on the upcoming whale watch/snorkel if you'd like to spend an enjoyable afternoon viewing humpback whales and watching the beautiful fish of the reefs below. The Four Winds II has a glass bottom, so you can also watch the fish from on board. There is also a water slide. The crew will prepare a fantastic BBQ meal and serve refreshing drinks.
You can do all this while supporting the Maui community. Tickets are $55 for adults and $45 for children ages twelve and under. You can get tickets at www.kiheirotary.org. The website also has plenty of information about the club and its various fundraisers for different efforts.
The Kihei Rotary Club has been awarded the Small Club of the Year trophy in District 5000 for three consecutive years since 2006. This is certainly a great source of pride. While it always feels good to be appreciated for one's efforts, it is the efforts themselves that are most validating.
