Presentation on Maui Restaurants

Interested in Maui cuisine? Whether you are visiting, living on Maui, or planning a move to Maui, you shouldn't miss the upcoming presentation on Maui restaurants at the Five Palm's Resort.
The topic to be explored is all about Maui restaurants, based on the guide "Top Maui Restaurants 2010: From Thrifty to Four Star." This book was written by husband-and wife team James and Molly Jacobson who invested over $107,00 of their own funds researching Maui restaurants for the project.
It may sound like a lot of fun dining out and reviewing the food on Maui for a living, but there are more restaurants on here than you might expect, so this dynamic duo had to eat out around eleven times a week.
They published the guide as an online eBook in 2005 and it has become a great resource for residents and visitors alike who want to enjoy the best experience possible for their particular tastes. The 2010 edition has just been released and now the Jacobsons are presenting their work to those who are interested and might have questions. Many people might wonder what it's like to research these restaurants, perhaps how much of the menu is sampled, or what it was like to write and publish it. Also under discussion will be the Jacobson's top picks for Maui's best restaurants in all price ranges.
The presentation has been sponsored by the Kihei Rotary Club. Details below.
When: Wednesday, January 27 2010, 07:30 AM
Where: Five Palms Restaurant, Mana Kai Maui Resort, 2960 South Kihei Rd Kihei, Maui, HI 96753
