Maui Class on Marketing Your Business

Maui Condo Sales in Wailea

By Mark Harbison

The Maui County Business Resource Center is hosting another good class to bolster businesses in Maui's economy.

There are plenty of intrepid Maui entrepreneurs with excellent business ideas. Often, when you come up with one, it just clicks. You wonder why you never thought of it before and realize how perfectly it fits in its own niche on the island. Perhaps you pursued your idea and the people you brainstormed with also think it's fantastic. Then you implement your idea and create your own business. It's a big step, whether it's your first time or not. But here is where so many brilliant entrepreneurs get stuck and their survival is ultimately decided (sometimes for the worse). How do you get it out there? How do you tell everyone on Maui, "Here is my business! Let's forge a lifelong relationship of mutual appreciation!" There are those that have been running their own businesses on the island of Maui for many years who still struggle with getting their business the proper marketing it deserves in order to get noticed.

Playbook Consulting Group's president Leslie Mullins will be holding a class on February 17 from noon to 1p.m. on this very subject. The discussion will cover why some businesses strike gold with their marketing strategies and others trudge along in a constant struggle to be discovered. Attend this class and you will learn how important it is to isolate your target market as well as how to reach it. Your marketing plan needs to speak directly to the customers your business needs to attract.

Leslie will provide a step-by-step guide including the three most important keys to reaching your target audience. This will help you develop a bankable marketing plan. As usual for classes held at the Maui County Business Resource Center, this is free to attend. Just be there at the Maui Mall across from IHOP at noon on the 17th of this month if you are interested in capitalizing on this information. Good luck with your Maui business!
