Wailuku First Friday Maui Event

By Mark Harbison

When you live on an island in the middle of the big blue Pacific, it is especially important to get to know who is on that island with you! Integrating yourself with the community can open a lot of doors. We are one big support network. If you are planning to relocate and maybe buy a Maui home, you may be interested in opportunities to get to know the community.

You might stop by Wailuku First Friday on Market Street, which is held on the first Friday of every month, as the name implies. Wailuku is the capital of Maui County, so even if you choose to live in a Kihei condo, it's worth stopping in. The next one will take place on May 6th.

Wailuku First Friday includes live entertainment, artisans, street vendors, cultural food booths, a beer garden, and there are plenty of restaurants where you can dine. It is common for businesses to set up booths at this event too, so it would be a good opportunity to get to know them. If your networking needs aren't professional in nature, don't worry, there are plenty of new friends to be made.

Event hours are from 6pm-9pm. The event is free to attend, and will take place on the block at Vineyard, Market and Main Streets. If you need more information about this event, call (808) 878-1888.

If you are looking for real estate in that area, we can help you find both Wailuku homes and Wailuku condos. This location is ideal if you would like to be close to the center of Maui business, but that doesn't mean the area is strictly urban. There are some lovely homes perched on the majestic green slopes of the West Maui Mountains.

If you need any assistance, you'll find our contact information at the bottom of the page. Mahalo and have a lovely weekend!
