Maui Hotels on Conde Nast Traveler’s Gold List

December 21, 2012

Three of Maui’s hotels made the Conde Nast Traveler’s Gold List for 2013, which included thirteen total in the state of Hawaii. The list is decided by nearly 47,000 of the magazine’s readers, who vote on the best places to stay. We’re not surprised about Maui’s winners.

The Fairmont Kea Lani is located on a beautiful piece of oceanfront Wailea property here in South Maui. The beaches are calm and breathtaking, the nearby golf courses are fun and scenic, while the lush, tropical grounds complement the gleaming white hotel and its exotic architecture. Add this to the pampering of the guests by hotel staff, and it’s obvious why this hotel got a rating of 89.8.

The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, which is in West Maui, also made the list with a score of 89.3. Kapalua golf courses are also a major attraction for visitors, the shoreline of West Maui is lovely, and Kapalua itself is known for the luxury it offers to visitors and residents alike.

Last, but certainly not least, the Wailea Beach Villas earned a place on the list with a rating of 93.7. You will have a hard time finding a single review of these accommodations that are less than perfect. Guests that range everywhere from business visits to family vacations and romantic getaways all rave about how wonderful they find the Wailea Beach Villas.

Note that two out of the three winners were located in South Maui, which makes us proud, as we represent South Maui real estate. Places like these are the reason why so many visitors contact us for assistance in finding their Maui dream home.  They have such a great experience, and see the island in its best light when they stay at these world-class accommodations. That’s when they decide to stay for good. If you are in the market, you’ll find our contact information at the bottom of the page. We would be happy to help you! Mahalo for reading!
