The Maui Arts and Cultural Center is a valuable asset to the community, considering all the enriching performances, art shows, festivals and various other events that take place there every year. For those with a deep appreciation of the arts, and the importance of cultural richness, the MACC's signature benefit gala is taking place on August 9th. This is a great opportunity to help the MACC do its invaluable work while enjoying a fantastic evening.
As South Maui real estate specialists, we are always on the lookout for the kinds of worthy events that make Maui a great place to live. This is one of them. Maui Calls 2013 is an elegant celebration under the stars where guests can indulge in premium wines served by vintners from boutique wineries around the world, along with delicious pupus made by chefs from incredible Maui restaurants. Guests will be greeted with a fresh flower lei and serenaded by beautiful Hawaiian music. This year, there will be a surprise musical guest. You'll just have to wait and see who it is!
Aside from the food, drink and entertainment, guests will have the opportunity to bid on hundreds of valuable items, such as golf and travel packages, jewelry and art via silent and live auctions. At the end, guests will dance the night away. Sounds like the perfect evening for romance and socializing with other like-minded individuals who appreciate culture and the arts.
If you are interested in attending, the cost ranges between $195 and $500 per person, and the event will start at 6pm and end at 10pm. The guest list is limited to those aged 21 and over, and the venue is the MACC at the lovely Yokouchi Pavilion/Amphitheater.
Visit www.mauiarts.org for more information. Hopefully, the event will be especially successful this year. Mahalo for reading this week, and check in each Friday for our latest blog on island-wide events and South Maui real estate!
