This week, we'd like to suggest a fun activity to spice up your busy lives on Maui. One of the reasons we specialize in South Maui real estate is because there's always something interesting happening in this part of the island, and this upcoming event is no exception!
The Morey Challenge is an obstacle course that will be held on April 19th at Big Beach, which is located near some stunning Makena properties. As the name indicates, it's a challenge, not a race, so there's no pressure on your performance except what you expect from yourself. This will be Hawaii's first ever shoreline/aquatics game and obstacle course, and it's a community oriented, family-friendly event that's just about having fun.
There will be prizes, and a special awards party at Mulligans on the Blue for those aged 21 and over. You can run the course individually, with a team, or even with a business, which would make a great team-building exercise. There is also a special keiki zone that will be open from noon to 1pm for participants that are ages 12 and under.
The rest of the event will involve a full day of food, entertainment, games, etc. from 9am-4pm. Don't forget to bring your beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, sunscreen, water, and whatever else you'll need for a comfortable day at the beach. You don't have to participate if you attend. You can just show up to watch and to support those who are running the course.
If you need more information, visit the Morey Challenge website. We hope you have a fantastic time, and don't forget our contact information at the bottom of the page if you need assistance with your real estate search. Mahalo!
