Maui real estate is moving along, with some new developments in the works that will help meet current demands. Construction recently began on Nuu Aina, the Hunt Development Group's $65 million luxury residential project in Kihei. The groundbreaking ceremony has already taken place, and pre-sales are expected to begin in early 2015.
The project includes 68 luxury units, comprising of both one- and two-story single-family homes as well as two story villas. It spans 17 acres of land surrounded by the Maui Nui Golf Club, and features a pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen facilities and golf course privileges among its luxury amenities.
If you frequent Kihei, or you're interested in this new real estate, you'll find it at 1345 Pi'ilani Highway. It's on the mauka side of the highway (toward the mountain, rather than the ocean) between Kalepolepo Beach Park and Kalama Beach Park.
About 15 full-time jobs are expected to be created in the initial phase, and many more over the life of the project, which is a nice perk for Maui's economy.
As the units haven't yet been built, there are no MLS listings online yet, but if you're curious about the project, visit www.nuuaina.com. If we can help you with your search for the right South Maui real estate, you'll find our contact information at the bottom of the page. Mahalo for reading this week!
