Real Estate Maui Hawaii friends! On Sunday, October 15 grab your beach chairs or blankets and head on over to the Maui Arts and Cultural Center for the 12th Annual Maui Ukulele Festival. Just 20-30 minutes away from your new South Maui home, this is the perfect way to spend a beautiful Hawaiian afternoon. End your weekend with a touch of aloha with an afternoon filled with the island strums of the ukulele and incredible door prizes, including a fine ukulele!

Gates open at 12:30pm and with free admission we are sure many of the Maui community will be in attendance, so be sure to come early to get the best seats in the house. Among the lively entertainment, the festival will also feature arts and crafts made in Hawaii as well as a number of island good eats available for purchase. The food vendors include Maui Cones, Three’s Bar & Grill, Dino’s Gourmet On-The-Go, Grandpa Joe’s Candy Co., and Real Fruit Ice Cream HI.

The lineup this year includes several acclaimed musicians including:

  • Willie K and his band
  • Paula Fuga
  • Richard Ho’opi’i
  • Kamakakehau Fernandez
  • Derick Sebastian
  • The Hula Honeys
  • Andrew Molina
  • Arlie Asiu
  • Nelly Baduria
  • Nick Acosta
  • Rui Okawa
  • The Aloha Picking Ohana
  • The Kalama Intermediate Ukulele Band
  • Kamehameha Schools Maui Ukulele Band
  • Honey Bun & the Coconuts

Island tunes will start to fill the Maui air around 1:00 pm and the festivities will continue until 6:00 pm. Distinguished Roy Sakuma, ukulele advocate and teacher, will serve as emcee and will help us praise Hawaii’s beloved instrument. So hele mai and join your new island community in the fun, laughter, and celebrations!

As always we at Real Estate Maui Hawaii are here to help you make the right Maui real estate investment! For more events and updates on Maui real estate listings, we publish a new blog every Friday. Mahalo!
