If you are looking for things to do in Hawaii that is family-friendly as it is fun, we would like to invite you to a Maui event happening this spring! This coming April 13th, Imua Family Services along with the Maui Arts and Cultural Center will be hosting a Color Festival Hawaii from 1 pm to 6 pm.
This event is not only family friendly but it’s a celebration of diversity in light of the traditional Indian Holi Festival. Kicking off the event, there will be an exciting music arrangement with DJ’s from all over including headliner Rayland Baxter of Nashville TN, DJ Boomshot, Shea Butter & The Cream, and Yum Yum Beast.
On site will also be some great grinds for sale at some of Maui’s best food trucks. And, of course, there will be throwing of the colors! This event is a fundraiser for the local nonprofit Imua Family Services and is a place for all people to feel included. Event Sponsors include SongDivision, Alaska Airlines, Maui Jim Sunglasses, MauiNOW, PMG, and FHB.
While there will be colors for sale and souvenir event t-shirts available for purchase if you’re planning on attending make sure you wear white so you can get the full effect of the bright colors thrown! We suggest bringing an extra pair of clothes or a towel or plastic bag to sit on afterward so you don’t stain your car. You should also protect your eyes with sunglasses or goggles!
