2019 Made in Maui Annual Festival Kicks off This November

See what the best of Maui artisans and entrepreneurs have to offer at the annual Made in Maui County Festival. Live entertainment, fashion shows, and food trucks!
May 24, 2019

Every year on our island paradise there is one event in particular that brings out the best of the best in terms of what Maui artisans and entrepreneurs have to offer. On the Valley Isle, there’s a plethora of great artists, craftsmen, authors, designers and more whose work can only be found right here in Hawaii. In order to give locals and visitors alike a chance to check out some of these talented innovators first hand, Maui County puts together the annual Made in Maui CountyFestival so people such as ourselves have an opportunity of discovery, to buy local and spend a day enjoying ourselves in the warm Hawaiian sunshine.

The 2019 Made in Maui County Festival will kick off on November 1st and 2nd at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. From 8 am until 4:30 pm, you and all your friends can get a special entrance into product shows that feature more than 140 vendors and offers hundreds of made in Maui County products all in one location.

Currently, there are two options available for this event. For those of you who like to beat the crowds and like to shop in a more intimate setting, you can enjoy an exclusive shopping day on Friday, November 1st from 1:30 pm until 6 pm. These tickets include entrance to the opening ceremony and complimentary pupus. Attendees will also receive a free festival tote bag and have an opportunity to win a unique Maui getaway. Tickets currently are priced at $35, and children 12 and under are free.

The next day on Saturday, November 2nd is the “Big Festival Day” and includes a $5 entrance fee. This big day includes live entertainment, fashion shows and talk shows, 13 of the islands favorite food trucks, prize drawings and more. The first 2,000 attendees will receive a free festival tote bag, and there will be complimentary shuttles available on Saturday to and from the War Memorial Gym and the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Parking is free. The festival is made possible with support from the Maui Chamber of Commerce and the County of Maui Mayor's Office of Economic Development who also provide an online Made in Maui County directory of products with links to the sellers.

We hope to see you on this big day. If you’re in the market for a piece of property on Maui or are interested in seeing what homes are for sale on the island, then please take some time today to look through our new Maui MLS listings. We have a wide selection of homes for sale and suggest using our real estate map of Maui to see what’s available on the island. If you have any questions for us about real estate, please contact us. We’d love to hear from you. Have a great week and aloha!
