April 2019 Maui Real Estate Stats Show Kihei Condo Sales Booming

According to April report, Maui real estate is remaining steady with Kihei condo sales continuing to progress. In Kihei real estate, there were 67 condos sold in the month of April for a total of $34,986,766 at a median sales price of $429,000. Compared to March of this year, where there were 61 units sold for a total of $32,791,148 at a median sales price of $429,000. It seems as if sales are up from last year, where there were 63 units sold for a total of $31,594,459 at a median sales price of $415,500. Keep it up, Kihei!

In Maalaea real estate, there were two condos sold for a total of $876,000 at a median sales price of $438,000. There were three units sold in that area for a total of $1,403,000 at a median sales price of $520,000 in March and during April 2018, there were six units sold for a total of $2,299,000 at a median sales price of $387,000. And in Wailea and Makena real estate, there were 11 units sold for $16,225,001 at a median sales price of $1,005,000. During March 2019, there were 17 units sold for $30,770,000 at a median sales price of $1,500,000. There were 26 sold during April 2018 for a total of $41,370,982 at a median sales price of $1,248,700.

As for homes for sale in South Maui, in Kihei, there were 13 units sold for $10,644,510 at a median sales price of $791,010 during April. In March, there were 17 homes sold for $15,249,000 at a median sales price of $798,000. In April 2018, there were 15 homes sold for $12,227,025 at a median sales price of $688,025.

In Maui Meadows, there were two homes sold for $4,200,000 at a median sales price of $2,100,000 with one home for sale at $1,585,000 in March. Last year there were six homes sold at a median sales price of $1,456,000 for a total of $7,542,000. In Wailea and Makena there were five units sold for $10,234,500 at a median sales price of $1,600,000. Last month there were three homes sold for $9,419,950 at a median sales price of $1,550,000. During the same time the previous year, there were two homes sold for a total of $2,545,000 at a median sales price of $1,272,500.
