So carving out some time to be on the water is a necessity for any vacation to Maui. That’s why we recommend you book a boat tour to the Molokini Crater or out of the Lahaina Harbor so you can see Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe or even Maui from the wide-ocean blue. You won’t be disappointed.

And of course, you’ll want to spend some time on land too! That’s why we recommend planning an overnight trip to Hana. That will give you plenty of time to explore the eastside’s waterfalls and luscious tropical forest. And on your way back, make sure to take the backway through Haleakala so you can make a stop upcountry to check out the famous lavender farm or see how the Ocean Vodka is made. Then once those activities on Maui are complete, then head down for some final beach days to unwind. Try snorkeling on Maui’s south side or book a parasailing trip out of Lahaina.
