New South Maui Restaurant By Renowned Hawaii Chef

December 23, 2016

A new restaurant by renowned Hawaii chef Roy Yamaguchi is coming to South Maui, as a part of The Wailea Beach Resort- Marriott, Maui. The resort, situated on 22 beautiful acres of beachfront Wailea property, recently underwent a $100 million renovation, a wise investment given the surging power of Maui’s visitor industry.

True to Maui form, the restaurant is called Humble Market Kitchin and should be open by December 24th, just in time for Christmas. It will actually be the resort’s signature restaurant based on its new style, which tells us a lot. It sounds like they will unveil a comfortable, natural Hawaiian look in their renovations. Speaking of the renovations, they include six new restaurants, three new swimming pools, along with a redesign of all of their 547 rooms and suites, as well as their fitness center, spa and meeting/event spaces.

The Wailea Beach Resort bears the distinction of being the first resort built in Wailea, which makes it a beacon of endurance and success among the island’s commercial properties. Lucky for those of us who own real estate in South Maui, the finest resort experiences, including dining, are right at our fingertips. Restaurants like Humble Market Kitchin cater to travelers with discerning palates from all over the world, so the standards of these establishments are high, to say the least.

The other dining options at the resort include KAPA Bar & Grill, Whale’s Tale, Te Au Moana Luau, Nalu Pool Bar, Mo Bettah Food Truck, Oceanfront and Cabana Candlelight Dining, and a Starbucks. Whether you feel like grabbing a refreshing drink, sitting down for a burger at lunchtime, or enjoying an intimate oceanfront dinner in a private floating cabana, this resort has you covered.

In recent years, there have been a number of exciting new restaurants added to South Maui’s collection, many of which are part of the renovations that are being completed at many of the area’s resorts. Based on the growing activity of commercial investors, now is a great time to put money into Maui real estate.
